I'm brand new to this and have not yet received the materials which are in route. I got started in Natural Golf about 6 years ago and did the single axis thing for 4 years before I returned to "regular" golf 2 years ago. I took Natural Golf lessons from one of the best in the business, took lessons from Scott and even took LPG lessons 2 times while visiting in Austin, Texas. I just never got much distance. I've been much happier the past 2 years and it took a lot of time to undo NG habits. I'm a range "junky" so I'll put in the effort. Now my questions - will it be worth my time and efforts to play this system? Is this a single axis system or something different? How replicable is the swing? How about distance - is it as advertised? I'm going to the range today to try out the short game system; the short game is actually the best part of my game so this should be a good test. Thanks for the time.
Do take the time to read "Easiest Way To Learn Symple Swing" post in this forum. It covers the recommended Symple Swing learning sequence. It will help.
Is this a single axis system? Well I'll leave that for others to argue about. I can tell you this, it's more single axis than a number of swings commonly talked about in the single axis forum. Actually, I believe the important question is "Does Symple Swing work as advertised?" Yes, it works and it works amazingly well. We fully believe in Symple Swing and we stand behind 100%.
I believe Symple Swing is the most consistent and most repeatable golf swing ever. I can say that because Symple Swing has fewer moving parts and those parts that are moving make very simple repeatable movements.
Lever Power Golf (LPG) does have the potential for significant distance however it seems most people struggle finding that extra distance. Symple Swing was designed from the ground up to make it easy to get extra distance. I would say the average Symple Swinger adds about 1 club of distance using Symple Swing.
Bottom line: Yes Symple Swing will be worth your time. We are here to help. You can ask questions on the forum (then everybody learns) or email us at support@golfhelp.com or call us at 203-798-8489.
While Symple Swing is "easy to learn" you still have to put some work into it to master it. The more things you have to unlearn, often the more time it takes. However, that is the reason we developed the Symple Swing Learning Sequence" mentioned above. It starts with the basic moves and then reinforces success step by step.
Most golfers find it pretty easy to hit the short chips solid and straight with the Simple Chipping system. We just take that success and build on that. We very gradually lenghten the backswing and we gradually widen the stance. We make sure that your basic swing motion is "shoulder powered" from chip shots to the driver. That progress works amazingly well.
