Today was the first day I was able to play golf.
Shot 75 which is 4 over par here and 3 shot better than previous personal best.
9gir.

had two 3 putts.
first nine, was even par, one bogey from a 3 putt...
and one birdie.
missed 2 birdie chances.

second nine, played good, made bogey, bogey doublebogey even when i did make good shots but my aiming was not that good so had to take a few shots.

flushed the drive on 13, 280yards easy.
smoked it.
bad 6i, 3putt for par.
made par on 14.
birdie on 15.
par on 16.
par 17.
made an ok bogey on 18, had bad lie and then I pitched over the flag.
2 putt.
4 over last nine.

Happy with the new personal best, but I should be able with some fine tuning to go under 70.

Giving up trying to meet goals and outcomes this year.

Hi Flopper,

Very, very good.

NOW WHEN YOUR SWING IS GOOD IS THE TIME TO WRITE DOWN YOUR SWING THOUGHTS AND WRITE DOWN WHAT YOUR ARE FEELING DURING THE SWING. NOW IS ALSO THE TIME TO VIDEO YOUR SWING. DO EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO RECORD THIS SWING AND SET THIS "GOOD SWING" AS YOUR BASELINE SWING. YOUR WRITINGS AND VIDEO WILL BE INVALUABLE IN THE FUTURE.

Breaking a personal best by three shots is an accomplishment to be proud of.

Rob
wow!! congrats especially dropping 3 strokes off per best because a 4 over score coming from 7 over is huge! its like a high handicapper going from 110 to a 90.
stay relaxed and positive
on front nine
- make one more of those birdie chances. drop 1 more stroke
- eliminate that 3 putt (define what caused it and eliminate it from happening again) drop 1 more stroke
-2 less on front

on back nine
correct aim problem/ relax / visualize good set up and good swing
- define what happened on double and only make bogey- drop 1 stroke
-eliminate 3 putt on 13- drop 1 stroke
- drop 2 strokes on back

so 4 strokes less is so attainable!!
great finish/ but mentally see a very good opportunity to make pars and a couple of birdies , a bogey or two and and even par round is doable!! everytime!

good luck and again thank you for all your posts, your video's to discuss, your passion for the game and your focus to improve. Especially for believing in how we think golf should be played using SPS and keeping us informed with the good progress as you in search of golf's holy grail.
as always good luck

thx Mike.
well, I went,
3putt from 30feet+ for bogey.
solid par for the rest of the first nine holes.
had birdie putts last 3 holes and made one.

last nine,
made bogey on 10, pitched way passed the flag.2putt.
made bogey on 11, 8i to much left.
doublebogey on 12, which I hit good shots, tee shot, to much left, had tree in the way, hit one of the branches when I was just chipping out to the fairway, was trying to go safe heh.
so a little unlucky but it happens.

so I hit good shots just was unlucky for the result.
Had 3 putt for par at 13, missjudged the slope and the birdie putt was lip out.
made birdie on 15.
saved par on 16, missed birdie on 17.
pitched over flag for bogey at 18.
all and all, a great round.

I miss the pitch shots as I hit them to good.
I havent had which is kinda funny, one bad pitch shot in ages.
I just hit them a little to much distance, not by much but enough.
its finetuning to get them right.(work in progress)

Played yesterday but was hungry and tired.
long game was good, but shortgame was off.
Hit some good shots from time to time and have gone up in distances into a level I like.
240yards into the wind on wet fairways is sweet with driver.
280 downwind even with wet fairways is nice, if the fairways dry up, I would most likely be able to drive some par 4 greens, heh.

My game has reached a level where I feel I can with some rest shoot really low.
