Guys, I'm feeling really guilty here. I had another personal best score tonight in league play. Here's how it went down: 1) Stuck my approach 3' from the pin, but missed the birdie. 2) Stuck my approach 5' from the pin, but missed the birdie. 3) Stuck my approach 1' from the pin, made birdie. 4) Safely putted for par from 30'. 5) Safely putted for par from 18'. 6) Safely putted for par from 22'. 7) Drained an 11' birdie putt. 8) Missed GIR, but chipped to 1' and saved par. 9) Left my 20' birdie putt 1" short of the cup.
So I finished with a 2 under par 33, and missed 2 gimme birdies and barely missed a longer one. I should have been 4 under, and could have been 5 under. It was a good evening.

Guilty because in the 2 years I've been using SPS I've been wildly successful, while others on this forum still struggle. I'd like to believe that everyone on here could have similar or more success than I've had. I mean, I wouldn't trade it - I've surpassed anything I had ever imagined for myself. In my league play my handicap this year is 1 (that's not a USGA handicap, it's just the formula they've chosen to use). I think prior to this year my lowest handicap had been 4, so I've dropped 3 strokes in one year, and if I have any more rounds like last week it'll probably drop to 0. I guess I just want to see everyone permanently drop a few strokes from their scores and have the kind of success I've experienced. Maybe they are and they're not posting it. If any of the rest of you out there are having great succes, I hope you'll post what's happened and what you thought were the keys to your improvement. I know I learn alot from what everyone else shares.
Good luck next week. I know I still wanna play like Mike!

Golf is a game it does not equal life.
Its also worth noticing your approach shots are close. Which is key to low scoring no matter the system.
I have 2 competitions coming up, match play and on saturday 18 hole scratch play no handicap. I am happy about my game as I now can do what I want to do. Scoring low is the next on the agenda
Success should be posted, as well as failure.
Giving up trying to meet goals and outcomes this year.
