I'm looking at purchasing a set of Adams A2 OS Hybrid irons. I was wondering what the effect of the offset will do with the power thumb and the SPS. I still have problems with the long irons so I was hoping the offset would help, but if it is mainly designed for the standard golf swing with the hands turning over I don't want to introduce a new problem. Any thoughs would be greatly appreciated.
Depends what the problem is with the long irons. Distance or even slice? Offset is in my understanding a way to fix or close the clubhead for people who tends to slice the ball.
In SS that isnt required. The clubhead stays square the whole time in BS and DS, so offset shouldnt be required. Longer irons clubs are replaced by hybrids nowdays.

From 11hcp to tourpro level 2009? Got it how to swing Symple. Same swing with superb puttning. Low 70 scores here I come!
Thanks flopper. That's kind of what I was thinking. I don't have a problem with slicing. My problem is more with making good contact so the ball becomes airborn - not raising up and topping the ball. I'll probably just go with the Adams A2 (not the A2 OS).
Flopper is correct. The offset really isn't needed. The PowerThumb grip does a great job of preventing the club from opening up through impact.
You can play okay with offset clubs but you have to be careful that they have a square face. Some manufacturers pair an offset with a closed face and you really don't want that combination with Symple Swing.
Thanks Joe. Chuck called me the other evening and we had a great conversation regarding clubs and a number of other golf topics. It's so great to hear how much you guys believe in the product and what you teach. I ended up going with the Adams Idea a2 hybrid irons without the offset. I felt a little more comfortable with those when I tried them out at Golfsmith. Can't wait to try them out.
