Hi, I just order the putting dvd for $7 and I was wondering if this was the same instructional dvd that comes with the simple putter or is this something else?
Thanks, paul

Paul same one/ after conferring with experts around the golf world we realize our method is head and shoulders above any other putting method, so we want to start getting the word out to the golf world as we introduce the Symple Putting Method to pga teachers, golfers world wide etc. so take advantage of our 'economical offer' as we realize the crunch everyone is going thru and still want to make golf easier and more fun to play. Great Golf Guaranteed or in this case Great Putting Guaranteed. let me know how it goes after using our method and hopefully seeing our putter that optimizes this error free method you will 'switch' and join the rest of us who now have confidence over every putt from any distance. Thanks for the reply. I don't mean to put you on the spot, however, do you think it's the "method" or the "putter" that's more important? What percentage would you give to the "method" and to the "putter" for the increase? Is the putter "face-balanced"? Thanks, paul |

Paul me on the spot/ I live 'on the spot' lol, love the spot lol ok - method is critical to great putting/ try it with your putter - hinge hands on front leg - wrists only do the stroke - after seeing instructional you will now be able to -stabilize your stroke - have same set up position every time for rest of life (very important to consistent putting as now with conventional stroke and set up -- are you exact every time, or is your ball position ever changing by just a little/ now it is same for every set up) - method allows for you to focus on speed of putt since aim is a given
now using symple putter - designed to truly optimize the method/ your putters head weight is too light - ours is r&d to help make stroke easier to swing with heavier head allowing for less hand tension -shaft at lower angle, way lower than conventional putter because using your putter your toe of putter will be way up in air - making sweet spot way down by heel of head- no good -alignment sight lines are set up to take all mis alignments out - you will have no more bad set ups thus making a well hit putt miss because no lined up correctly with putter face
i could go on and on but you will see the benefit to both method and putter you can do either without one, you could putt our method with your putter and improve greatly// you could use our putter to putt conventional and improve greally because of the lower hand position, the heavier head, the best face insert that gives better 'feeling' and audio 'click' when struck perfectly.
or you could marry the two, as you will see, and immediately start making putts, improved accuracy will amaze you, then once stroke is learned and aim is now automatic you focus on speed of every putt and now only misses will be bad reads because every ball is going where you aim, every putt has the right speed and now you 'master' putting and have, no kidding, great putting rounds like hundreds of golfers are now having between 26 and 32 putts per round, all the time.
whew got on a tangent there/ call me with any questions after seeing video / i'm the instructior in the video, so i look forward to your concerns, questions, most of all your future posts relaying how much better putter you are now then before.
putter is face balanced/ you have to putt with it to see the immediate benefit/ call me i might have another option for you

Mike, Thanks again for your reply. I will wait for the dvd and see how that goes before I call you. Many, many years ago I had a "wristy" putting stroke and it never worked for me. The shoulder stroke works better for me, but I manage to screw that up as well. Do any Tour Pros use your method or even one that is similar? I'm not sure about the putter because I've tried my fair share of mallets, 2 ball putters, etc. and they bother me to look at them. I can only putt with an Anser-type putter or something similar. I hope the dvd gets here fast, what state does it ship from? Do you want to anser Rob's question or should I?
Many Thanks Again, paul |

Hi Mike, Where can you order the $7 putting DVD? I just looked at your home page and it indicates that the DVD is $29.99. Did I miss a special in the e-mail newsletter? Thanks in advance for your time. Bob |

Yaupon did not miss special in email / Joe and I decided to offer the putting instructional dvd for a short time at $7, as we introduce our putting method and putter to more of the general public we have been advised to make the offer no one could refuse (especially in these tougher economic times). you can go to www.sympleputter.com and down at the bottom of the page is a link for the dvd at $7. let me know if you can not get it and I will let Joe know and he will process your order. thanks mike o |

Mike, Thank for the quick response and link to the symple putter website. However, the $7 DVD link that you referenced in your post apparently has been removed from the website. Please advise as to how I should proceed to purchase the putting DVD. Thank you again. Bob |

For me, the factor that provides the most putting success is the timing / rythmn factor......... 1 - 2 ; tic - toc.
When I am able to stay with this rythmn..... tic toc......my putts are invariably successfully......to the degree I get sloppy and stray from the rythmn.....I miss the put.
Surely practice and training will follow me all the days of my golf and I will dwell in the house of the "great putter" for ever.

bkroon, Thanks for posting. I rec'd the dvd and the method has merit, but I've been having trouble using it with my current putter. I think you really do need the SimplePutter to make all of this work. I agree with you on the timing/rhythm piece, however, I didn't realize it until after I saw the dvd. How long have you been using the Simple Putting system and do you have the Simple Putter?
Thanks again, p

Hi Paul -
I have not been using SPS very long.... experimented with it but did not really go to it until last month. Got the DVD....things make more sense now.
No I don't have Simple Putter......have a 50 year old brass blade given to me by my golfing buddy, Scotty. Scotty is from Scotland. Gave me the putter one day, said "Here, get rid of that belly thing."
I may go to the Simple Putter later.
The timing / rythmn thing is very good. I'm going to work on that in the rest of my game......
( I will refrain from any smarty remarks about the current state of politics in your state. )

In addition to rythmn and timing I find that use of this putting technique (?) method....has resulted in improved distance control.
Fewer puts come up short ( in some cases way short ). As I practice, more and more puts end in the coveted 3 - 4 foot circle around the cup. A decent percentage of the time, some putts actually fall in the cup !!
Think it has to do with a better follow through.......oft times "quitting" on the stroke ( minimal or no follow through ) seems to affect distance.
Rob in Sunny Phoenix Hmmmmm what is that funny stuff obscuring the sun this morning ? OH !! Clouds ! For a minute there, I forgot what they look like. |

Yep ! That putting DVD really helps. Am working on the rythmn.
1 & 2.......tic - toc.....Friday was the best day yet. Really smooth on the rythmn.....nocked in 3 - 25 ft putts in a row !! After that.....well keep practicing !! But there is hope yet......light in the tunnel....that sort of thing.
The more I practice keeping my left arm anchored & still ( am right handed ) and the more I work on the rythmn.....the better it gets.
There really is hope out there.
For all you Portland folks and those in the Pacific northwest.....Lots of passengers sitting at the Phoenix airport hoping the airlines will get weather clearance to fly your direction. Keep the faith baby.....the sun will shine again. ( sooner or later )

Mike -
The web site talks about a "lower" shaft angle on the Simple Putter.
What is the lie / shaft angle on the putter ? Just out of curiosity.
Played yesterday at Ken McDonald Tempe Muni course.
6 one-putts. The approach and chip shots made a world of difference. We won't talk about tee shots and fairway shots.
Not bad for an old duffer.
